I am a grandmother. My grandson is now a toddler and he has already wrapped me around his tiny fingers. I can see right now, I will gladly obey him and go to any length to grant his requests. I’m his Grami. I also am a mother to an only child – a son. He married a wonderful, pleasing to the eye, young lady by the name of April who now is the mother of my sweet grandson. My husband and I have been married thirty-three years and counting. We love to ride our motorcycle as often as we can, taking photographs of beautiful Kentucky along the way.
I work full time in a busy court system and I freelance part-time from my home office as a writer and a speaker. I also love photography. In fact, the pictures you find on my blog are those that I’ve taken. I mostly love to take nature shots and of course shots of my handsome grandbaby.
My website is dedicated to assisting others in learning how to preserve thier family memories as well as local church history. I believe it is important to have something to pass on to our children and grandchildren. Too many times, we intend to record our thoughts and memories, but often fail to follow through.

In addition to this blog and my website, I also run a blog for pastors’ wives and wives in ministry. Take time to look at this blog and pass the information on to your pastor’s wife.
Darlene, I very much enjoyed your site. It appears that you have much to be Thankful for in your life; as most of us do, if only people would realize the many blessings that they have in their life come from their father in Heaven.
Keep writing!

Thanks. You are so right. We all have many reasons to be thankful. Sometimes we just need to acknowldge it. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
